DBL: Pilch Connect November 18 2008
Written by belinda on November 25, 2008PilchConnect is a new, specialist legal service which has been set up to provide legal help to Victorian, not-for-profit community organisations. The PilchConnect service provides free and low cost legal information, training, advice and legal referrals for Victorian not-for-profit community organisations. It also undertakes law reform and advocacy work about the wide range of legal issues that affect the not-for-profit sector. The Legal Information section of PilchConnect’s website will be launched on the 19 November 2008.
The website will contain a range of legal information resources, developed for Victorian, not-for-profit community organisations. The resources are ordered in a way that works through the ‘life-cycle’ of a community organisation. They include legal information fact sheets, frequently asked questions, checklists, manuals and links to relevant websites
Joining us tonight on Done By Law is Sue Woodward (Manager of PilchConnect) and Lynne Wannen (Director, Office of the Community Sector) to discuss the not-for-profit sector, PilchConnect’s role and the type of legal information and advice available.
